Stéphane Pelletier was born in Paris in 1969 but mostly raised in the countryside among dogs, a donkey, and a goat.
He learned photography on his own, travelling and living in different cities such Tokyo, Miami and San Paulo where he started as a fashion photographer working for Calvin Klein and Vogue.
In 1992, he establishes in Paris but will switch to still life photography in 1997.
Stéphane has now a significant career and is one of the leading creative still life photographers.
Stéphane Pelletier’s client list includes Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Dior, Jil Sander, Louis Vuitton, Shiseido, Lancôme, Serge Lutens, Givenchy, Cerruti, Kérastase, Biotherm, Kenzo, David Yurman, Clarins, Paco Rabanne and has collaborated with leading éditorial publications such as Numéro, INTERSECTION,Jalouse...
In july 2009 Stéphane Pelletier lived with his wife between Paris and San Diego where he has made patented hi-tech inventions to be applied in the surf and skate industry. Two of his inventions have appeared in the « future chapter » of « THE SKATEBOARD » by Ben Markus.
